What is Consumer Surveys?

Consumer Surveys is a local Twin Cities based organization which brings individual consumers together to participate in food surveys and product testing. Food manufacturers are very interested in what consumers have to say about their products, so we coordinate taste test and discussion groups so that consumers, like you, can share your opinions on their food products. For participating in our online surveys, you will be rewarded in MarketPoints, which is Consumer Survey's online currency. For every survey you take online, you will be rewarded an average of 50 MarketPoints. Once you have earned 1,000 MarketPoints, you can redeem your points for a $10 gift certificate from giftcertificates.com. To learn more click on MarketPoints.

When you are invited to attend in-person studies you will be compensated with a check for your time. Compensation amounts range, but average about $40 per hour. Because of the payment you receive, Internal Revenue Service regulations require that certain payees be provided with Annual Information Returns (Form 1099 MISC) for payments made to them during the past calendar year. To comply with government regulations, we require social security information at the time you participate in an in-person study in order to determine if you should be provided with a Form 1099 MISC at the end of the calendar year. Incentive payments cannot be made without this information on file.

How do I join?

If you are interested in becoming a member, click on Join Now and you will be asked a couple of short questions to determine if you are eligible to join the Consumer Surveys panel. If you are eligible, you will be sent a confirmation email inviting you to complete a registration survey regarding your consumer habits. You must complete this registration survey in order to activate your membership. Upon completion of this registration profile you will receive a confirmation email stating that you are an active member of Consumer Surveys and your account will be credited with your first 50 MarketPoints.

We strongly recommend that you add projects@consumersurveys.com to your safe sender list to ensure the registration survey is delivered to you successfully. Only one membership per household is allowed.
